To allow the festival to be built safely, Homefield Park will have restricted public access from Wednesday 17 June while infrastructure is installed.
The skate park and wooded/play area will remain accessible for skaters and dog walkers on 17 and 18 June. From Thursday evening, the main festival site will be closed to the public until the festival opens:
📅 Friday 19 June – 2pm
📅 Saturday 20 June – 11am
📅 Sunday 21 June – 11am
These restrictions are in place for public and contractor safety during the build period.Dog Walking
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the festival and must be kept on leads at all times. Alternative dog walking routes may be required during the build period while sections of the park are temporarily closed.
Skate Park Access
The skate park has its own separate entrance and remains accessible throughout the festival weekend.
Skaters can access the skate park freely without entering the festival site. If skaters wish to enter the festival itself, they must enter through the main festival gates, pass through security checks and, if under 18, be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Is the festival free?
Yes. Entry to Worthing Festival is completely free.
Most activities, performances and workshops are also free, although some workshops may invite donations.
How do I get to the festival?
There is no public parking available on site. Homefield Park is easily accessible on foot from Worthing town centre and railway station, with excellent public transport links nearby. We encourage all visitors to walk, cycle and use public transport.
Can I bring food and drink into the festival?
No. Food, alcohol and soft drinks purchased off-site cannot be brought into the festival. As a free event, food trader pitches and bar sales play an important role in helping fund the festival. We have also made a commitment not to undercut the local businesses that help support the event.
Exceptions will be made for:
Medical and special dietary requirements
Baby food and children's food
Our security team will apply common sense and discretion where needed.
What food options are available?
There will be a wide range of food and drink available throughout the weekend, including vegetarian, vegan and family-friendly options.
For those on a budget, The Real Junk Food Project will be providing affordable food with a pay-as-you-feel option.
Can I bring a picnic?
No. Picnics are not permitted within the festival site.
Can I bring alcohol or illegal substances?
No. Alcohol cannot be brought into the festival. A fully licensed festival bar will be operating throughout the weekend.
Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. They will be confiscated, destroyed and reported to the police.
Will there be security checks?
Yes. Bag searches will be in operation at festival entrances. These checks help us keep the festival safe and ensure prohibited items such as alcohol and drugs are not brought onto site.
Is there free drinking water?
Yes. Free drinking water will be available across the festival site.
You are welcome to bring an empty reusable water bottle to refill throughout the day.
What's the reusable cup scheme?
Festival drinks are served in reusable cups. A festival cup costs £1.50 and is yours to keep. If you attended last year, please bring your 2025 cup back and reuse it. We deliberately didn't date the cups so they can be used year after year.
The scheme helps reduce waste and supports the running costs of the festival.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please be mindful that the festival can become busy and noisy.
Can children attend?
Absolutely. However, all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
A maximum of four under 18s may attend with one responsible adult.
Is the festival accessible?
We are committed to making Worthing Festival as accessible as possible. The main entrances are 3m wide, and there are gentle pathways throughout the whole park, with additional accessible toilets. Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions about accessibility at the event.

Worthing Festival is a not-for-profit event. You can support us by:

Food Vendors 2025

Our Worthing Festival food vendors were here to serve up a feast of global flavours! From the bold spices of Cairovan’s North African wraps to the sunny Mediterranean tastes of Happy Go Souvlaki, there was something to suit every craving. We tucked into mouthwatering barbecue from Ditch Brisket, indulgent mac and cheese from Mac Daddy, or fresh West African favourites from Mama Sheila’s Kitchen. Saltio brought the rich culinary heritage of Mexico, while Podgers offered street food classics—think burgers, hotdogs, tacos and sliders, all made with flair. We grabbed a loaded bagel from Mr Bagel, satisfied our sweet tooth with vegan doughnuts from Cat Burglar Dough Co, and cooled off with handcrafted gelato from G-Lite Worthing. For a caffeine kick, TruBru Nitro Coffee delivered smooth, cold-brewed drinks with a twist. With something for every appetite and diet, our food court was the perfect place to refuel between festival moments. At the heart of our food offering was The Real Junk Food Project, a truly inspiring initiative tackling food waste and food poverty head-on. Serving delicious, wholesome meals made from perfectly good surplus food, TRJFP operates on a Pay As You Feel basis—because value isn't just about money. Whether you offer a donation, your time, or your skills, everything is appreciated. It's food with a conscience, and a reminder that community, sustainability and good taste go hand in hand.
